Will Ezra Mam be the Dolphins' salvation amid salary cap crunch?

Ezra Mam emerges as Dolphins' top target amid Broncos salary cap crunch

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The Redcliffe Dolphins have set their sights on Ezra Mam as part of a $3 million recruitment drive, with Wayne Bennett keen to lure the Brisbane Broncos star to the club.

Mam, who was awarded the Dally M five-eighth of the year, has hit the open market for 2025 and beyond, making him an attractive prospect for the Dolphins.

Bennett has confirmed that Mam is their top priority, following the successful poaching of Herbie Farnworth and Tom Flegler from the Broncos earlier this year.

Dolphins CEO Terry Reader has stated that the club will look to strengthen its roster, with Mam at the top of their list of targets.

With 12 players coming off-contract at the end of the 2024 season, the Dolphins have significant salary cap space to work with in their pursuit of Mam.
