Newly appointed NRLW Head Coach Ben Jeffries has hit the ground running in Newcastle, ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead.
With an impressive resume, Jeffries brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, having cut his teeth in rugby league both at home and abroad.
Having previously coached the Women's Indigenous All Stars and the PNG Women's National team, he certainly knows how to lead a team to victory.
But it's not just coaching that Jeffries has excelled in - he's also no stranger to the field, having played in the NRL for two seasons and making a name for himself in the English Super League.
Returning to his roots in Newcastle, where he grew up playing junior footy, Jeffries is determined to guide the NRLW squad to success.
We had the chance to sit down with the new coach and pick his brain on his vision for the team and his plans for the upcoming season.
