Wigan Warriors Selling Out: World Club Challenge Rocks England

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The World Club Challenge is receiving a warm reception as the Wigan Warriors announced impressive ticket sales of over 18,000 for the upcoming clash.

With only around 7,000 tickets remaining, fans are flocking to secure their spot at the DW Stadium on February 24.

After the disruption caused by the pandemic, last year's challenge took place in Australia, but now it's back to its roots in England.

St Helens, the dominant force with four consecutive Super League titles, were denied a chance at the grand final in 2023 by Wigan, setting the stage for an exciting rematch.

Penrith, who faced heartbreak and injuries in their previous challenge, are seeking redemption against St Helens at Wigan's home ground.

The atmosphere is bound to be electric as both teams strive for glory in this highly-anticipated showdown.
