Wigan Warriors head coach Matt Peet has expressed confidence in his team's readiness as they aim for another Grand Final appearance, stating that the Warriors are the "hungriest I have ever seen them." Although Peet is uncertain who his side will face in the semi-finals, he is certain about the team's determination and spirit.

Having finished second in the regular Super League season, Wigan will observe the upcoming matches where Leigh Leopards will compete against Wakefield Trinity and Leeds Rhinos will face St Helens. This setup allows the top two teams, Wigan and Hull KR, the advantage of an additional week to prepare for their pivotal games.

Peet is familiar with this scenario, as his team is the reigning champions after securing a historic quadruple of titles in 2024, including the Grand Final, Challenge Cup, League Leaders' Shield, and World Club Challenge. He emphasizes that their current mindset makes them a formidable opponent: Wigan is the "hungriest" he has ever witnessed, bolstered by their extensive experience in critical matches.

"I will be watching as a fan firstly then I will watch them back later in the week," Peet shared with Sky Sports.
