Wigan Warriors women achieved their first Challenge Cup title with a commanding 42-6 victory over St Helens at Wembley Stadium.
Despite St Helens' previous success on this stage, Wigan showcased their dominance in the Women's Super League throughout the season.
In the first half, Wigan established a commanding 18-0 lead with converted tries from Megan Williams, Mary Coleman, and Emily Veivers.
Continuing their momentum, Wigan scored additional converted tries from Isabel Rowe, Eva Hunter, Grace Banks, and Anna Davies in the second half, with Rowe successfully converting every try.
St Helens managed to score a consolation through Katie Mottershead, but their efforts were overshadowed as Wigan outperformed them in every aspect of the game.
This victory also marked the end of St Helens' impressive run in the Challenge Cup, where they had secured four consecutive titles from 2021 to 2024, including three wins at Wembley.
