Wigan's Jenna Foubister, Eva Hunter, and Isabel Rowe have been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Woman of Steel award.
According to skysports.com, the Woman of Steel accolade was established in 2018, with past winners hailing from clubs such as Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos, St Helens, and the York club, which has taken home the award for three consecutive years.
The latest recipient will be revealed at the Rugby League Awards Night in Manchester on Tuesday, October 7, just two days following the Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final.
Foubister, Wigan's 18-year-old half-back, has played a crucial role for the Warriors throughout the season, with her standout performance against St Helens being critical to their League Leaders' Shield victory.
Hunter, a 20-year-old second-row, has enjoyed a remarkable season, scoring in 13 consecutive matches, including a pivotal touchdown in Wigan's Challenge Cup final win at Wembley in June. This achievement allowed her to surpass a club record once shared by legends Steve Ella, Martin Offiah, and Sam Tomkins.
Rowe, also just 18 years old, has developed a strong and effective partnership with Foubister as half-backs.
