In the latest update for Zero Tackle's NRL MVP, there were notable movements, but no changes at the top during Round 24.
Whyte was the sole player from the top ten to receive votes in this round, accumulating four during the Roosters' victory over the Penrith Panthers.
This achievement increases the forward's lead in total votes to six, while Dylan Edwards, Scott Drinkwater, Nathan Cleary, and Haumole Olaku'atu continue to hold spots in the top five.
Braydon Trindall's chances of claiming the MVP have been negatively impacted due to a shoulder injury, whereas James Tedesco remains in seventh place.
Kalyn Ponga made a significant entrance into the top ten after earning 16 votes and now occupies the eighth position, with Sua Fa'alogo and Nicho Hynes completing the top ten.
During Round 24, Daly Cherry-Evans, Jamayne Isaako, David Fifita, Fletcher Sharpe, and Toby Couchman were all recognized by the four judges as top performers, while others like Joseph Tapine, Owen Pattie, Apa Twidle, Tallyn Da Silva, Mitchell Barnett, and Chanel Harris-Tavita received at least one "man of the match" vote.
Among those accumulating 20 votes, Toby Couchman and Fletcher Sharpe are in the strongest positions, sitting at 32nd and 33rd overall.
As there are a maximum of 60 votes available for players left this season (40 if a club has a bye), only the previously mentioned top ten can mathematically contend for the leading position as the season concludes.
