The Sydney Roosters have scored a major victory in securing the future of rising star Naufahu Whyte, with the announcement of his two-year contract extension.

This formidable second rower has left no doubt about his physical prowess and sporting grit since joining the Tricolours as a young prodigy.

Roosters Head of recruitment, Daniel Anderson, couldn't hide his delight at Whyte's decision to commit to the club until the end of 2026.

With eight NRL appearances under his belt in 2023, and a total of 11 first grade games since his debut in the 2021 season, it's clear that the Roosters have a gem on their hands.

Notably, Whyte's skills have earned him a coveted spot in the New Zealand Kiwis squad for The Pacific Championships, held last year.

As one of the game's brightest stars, Whyte's prowess on the field will undoubtedly be a key asset for the Roosters in their quest for rugby league glory.
