The North Queensland Cowboys NRLW Cowboys of the Year will be announced at the club's annual Presentation Night in Townsville.
According to cowboys.com.au, there are three contenders for the prestigious award.
One of them is Manzelmann, a talented player from Mackay who lived up to her reputation as one of the star recruits.
As the Cowboys' first-ever signing, she made history by scoring the club's inaugural try in the NRLW.
Throughout the season, Manzelmann demonstrated her speed and skill, crossing the try line three times and making an impressive 280 tackles with a tackle efficiency of 94%.
Another contender is Goldthorp, who made her NRLW debut this year.
The English International player has been relentless for the Cowboys, consistently running an average of 144 meters per game.
She also scored a try and broke through 31 tackles.
Polata, on the other hand, underwent a remarkable positional change during the 2023 season.
Initially starting as a winger, she ended up playing as a middle forward.
Despite the change, Polata proved her versatility and skill, averaging 79 running meters across eight games.
These three players have undoubtedly made significant contributions to the Cowboys' NRLW campaign this year, and their performances will be recognized and celebrated at the upcoming Presentation Night.
