Wigan Warriors showcased their dominance with a resounding 44-18 victory over Leigh Leopards in the Betfred Super League clash on Saturday.
Abbas Miski stole the limelight with an impressive hat-trick in the second half, propelling Wigan to a convincing win.
This triumph came as a much-needed redemption for the Warriors after their heart-wrenching defeat in the Challenge Cup semi-final against Hull KR, where they fell short by just one point.
The first half saw a closely-contested battle, with Wigan holding a 16-6 lead.
However, it was in the second half that they truly took control of the game.
Leigh initially took the lead in the 12th minute when Tom Amone showcased his agility and skill to score a try out of nowhere.
Amone's effort was converted by Ben Reynolds, giving the Leopards a brief advantage.
Wigan quickly responded, with Bevan French equalizing the score just five minutes later.
Liam Farrell then made a crucial breakthrough, capitalizing on a gap created by Harry Smith, who sent Jai Field on a clear path before the full-back redirected the ball for French to score under the posts.
Smith successfully converted the try, further extending Wigan's lead and solidifying their dominance.
