League legend Mark Geyer didn't hold back in his criticism of the Eels, declaring that they had "put the white flag up" during their disastrous loss to the Dolphins in Darwin.

The former player called for a complete overhaul of the struggling team, suggesting that changes needed to be made.

The Eels suffered a humiliating 44-16 defeat at the hands of the Dolphins, who were missing key players.

Parramatta's performance was described as a "capitulation" by Geyer, as they conceded eight tries in just 25 minutes in the sweltering conditions of Darwin.

Fans were quick to express their frustration on social media, directing their anger towards the coach, players, and the club's recruitment strategy.

Geyer highlighted the drastic turnaround in the game, as the Eels were leading at halftime before collapsing in the second half.

In true Aussie sporting style, Geyer's scathing assessment of the Eels' performance included plenty of colorful language and calls for drastic action to turn their fortunes around.

The pressure is on for Parramatta to bounce back from this embarrassing defeat and show their fighting spirit on the field.
