The Gold Coast Titans' official website, titans.com.au, has reported that Karina Brown and Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell will be making their first appearance of the new season as replacements in the backline for the Titans' upcoming clash against the Sharks on Saturday afternoon.

This comes as a result of Origin stars Jaime Chapman and Emily Bass being ruled out due to niggling injuries during the captain's run.

However, the Titans are confident that they will not lose any ground with these changes, as both Brown and Ormond-Maunsell have previously represented their respective countries on the international stage.

In other team news, Zara Canfield is set to return from a minor ankle injury sustained last week, while promising young forward Rilee Jorgensen will continue to make an impact from the bench after an impressive debut.

Additionally, Brittany Breayley-Nati will once again take on the role of hooker for the game, with Lauren Brown offering her impactful skills from the interchange.

The highly-anticipated kick-off is scheduled for 3.10pm on Saturday, and fans can catch the action live on Channel 9, 9Now, Fox League, and Kayo Sports.
