Wheelaroos out to stop Ashes cleansweep

The Wheelaroos aim to halt England's pursuit of an Ashes cleansweep when they face off in the second Test of the series this Sunday.

In the series opener on Thursday night at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, England triumphed with a score of 56-28, though the reigning champions had to rally from behind during the second half.

Both teams have retained their original lineups for this final match of the Wheelchair Ashes Series, which is set to begin at 3 PM.

Wheelaroos captain Brad Grove is on track to make his 21st appearance representing Australia.

Joe Coyd is poised to earn his 39th cap, which would further solidify his status as England's all-time appearance record holder, while Jack Brown is also set for his 36th appearance.

The England roster features the current IRL Golden Boot holder Rob Hawkins, along with previous winners Seb Bechara (2022) and Jack Brown (2019).
