New world order: Wheelaroos dare to dream of RLWC26 glory

Clark and the Australian team are aspiring for World Cup success at home next year, having demonstrated their ability to compete against the current champions, England, in a nail-biting two-Test Wheelchair Ashes series.

The Wheelaroos nearly achieved their first victory or draw against England on Sunday, taking the lead with a score of 30-18 at halftime and 42-26 in the second half, only to be thwarted by a late try from Joe Coyd.

Since the inception of Wheelchair Rugby League in 2008, England and France have been the frontrunners; however, the Wheelaroos have made significant strides in their development while aiming to host the RLWC26. Notably, they maintained the lead for most of the exhilarating Test match held at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre.
