The NRL world was left seething over the 'ridiculous' scenes witnessed during the Roosters' triumph over Manly, as referee Ashley Klein's contentious decisions marred the game.

Klein's whistle echoed throughout the match, penalizing the Roosters a staggering 15 times, in addition to six penalties for Manly.

Furthermore, Klein's repeated utilization of the set restart rule, awarding it 16 times, left fans and players alike astounded.

However, the situation reached its boiling point in the latter stages of the second half when Roosters player Lindsay Collins, affectionately known as 'Brown,' was shown a red card for a high tackle on the formidable Ben Trbojevic.

The incident occurred a mere 30 seconds after Brown stepped onto the field, leaving spectators in disbelief.

The controversial decisions made by Klein undoubtedly had a significant impact on the outcome of the game, leaving supporters and pundits questioning the consistency and fairness of officiating in the NRL.

The incident has sparked widespread debate and calls for a review of Klein's performance, as his decision-making proved detrimental to the flow and enjoyment of the match.

  1. Klein does this regularly but because it now involved two Sydney "golden haired" teams it will now be reviewed. What about his consistently poor officiating in Raiders games? No review ever done for those adn, in fact, Annesley seems to go out of his way at times to cover up for the Klown
