NZ Warriors head coach Andrew Webster has recently signed a contract extension that will keep him with the team until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
The news was reported by the team's official website, warriors.kiwi.
The 41-year-old coach, who was named the 2023 Dally M Coach of the Year, will now have a tenure equal to the longest in the club's history, which is six seasons.
Prior to becoming the head coach, Webster served as an assistant coach for the team from 2015 to 2016.
Under his guidance, the Warriors made it to the NRL finals for the first time since 2018 and reached the preliminary finals for the first time since 2011.
This contract extension shows the club's confidence in Webster's coaching abilities and their desire for stability within the team's leadership.
