Alarm bells were raised for the New Zealand Warriors as the club announced that hooker Egan will be sidelined for an "indefinite" period due to a shoulder injury. This revelation comes shortly after he missed last week's narrow loss, marking the Warriors' second consecutive defeat, due to a concussion.
While the club shared limited details regarding the severity of the shoulder issue, they could not provide a definitive timeline for Egan's return.
However, during a press conference on Wednesday, coach Webster expressed optimism about Egan's recovery. "He could play next weekend," Webster stated, according to NRL.com. "He trained today; he just didn't do any collisions. He definitely needs another week; if it turns out to be two or three, so be it."
