"Easy to pick on": Webster doesn't hold back on referees, predicts Warriors' rise in 2025

Andrew Webster, known for his colorful personality, has shared his thoughts on why the New Zealand Warriors often find themselves on the wrong side of bad calls by referees.

The Warriors were left fuming last week when Stephen Crichton was allowed to stay on the field after a high tackle on Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, a decision that was clearly incorrect.

With Liam Kennedy, who was in the bunker at the time, now sidelined from his duties, NRL's head of football Graham Annesley admitted that Crichton should have been sin binned.

Unsurprisingly, Webster didn't hold back in criticizing the decision and remains steadfast in his opinion leading up to the upcoming showdown with the Cronulla Sharks.

"I stand by my assessment, 100 per cent," Webster declared confidently.

As the Warriors look to bounce back from this setback, Webster also offered a glimpse into the future, predicting a brighter outlook for the team in 2025.

Whether his prophetic words ring true remains to be seen on the rugby league battlefield.
