The New Zealand Warriors have announced an update on winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, who suffered an ankle injury during last week's game against the Penrith Panthers.
After undergoing scans, it was confirmed that he has a moderate grade syndesmosis injury, which will keep him sidelined for four to six weeks.
Although surgery is not required, Watene-Zelezniak will not be available for selection until at least Round 20-22.
In addition to Watene-Zelezniak, centre Ali Leiataua is facing a similar situation with a syndesmosis injury and is expected to return around Round 20 or 21.
On a positive note, centre Rocco Berry (hamstring) and fullback Taine Tuaupiki (concussion) have been cleared to return this weekend.
