Boyd brilliance steers Warriors to first NSW Cup crown

The Warriors have achieved a historic feat by becoming the first team from outside New South Wales to win The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. They confirmed their dominance by defeating the St George Illawarra Dragons 30-12 in the Grand Final held at CommBank Stadium.

Both teams scored early tries, but the Warriors surged ahead with two additional goals just before halftime. Though the Dragons managed to score first in the second half, the Warriors quickly regained control, ultimately finishing with an impressive 18-point lead.

In their initial possession, the Dragons executed a midfield bomb, courtesy of Lachlan Ilias, with his partner Jonah Glover pursuing the ball, which resulted in a Warriors knock-on after a review by the video referee.
