Winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and standoff Chanel Harris-Tavita are set to play in the NZ Warriors' NRL opener against the Sydney Roosters this Friday night at Go Media Stadium.
Both players, who were sidelined due to injuries-Tuivasa-Sheck with a hamstring issue and Harris-Tavita with a calf strain-missed the preseason trials but are ready for the match.
Meanwhile, halfback Te Maire Martin is still on the long-term injury list following successful surgery on his broken fibula, with an expected return in rounds 11 to 12.
Additionally, co-captain Mitchell Barnett and new signing Jye Linnane, who are both recovering from knee surgeries, are anticipated to be available shortly.
