NRLW Team Update: On Track for Consistent Lineup

The New Zealand Warriors are set to maintain consistency as head coach Ron Griffiths has announced that the same lineup will be used for the third consecutive week in their upcoming NRLW match against the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle.

The game is scheduled for Sunday at 6:15 PM local time (8:15 PM NZT).

On Tuesday, Griffiths confirmed that the lineup will mirror that of both the season opener, where the Warriors faced a loss against the Sydney Roosters, and last Sunday's 14-0 victory over the Eels.

As of the 24-hour deadline before the match, the same 17 players were confirmed, with forward Makayla Eli designated as the 18th player and hooker Avery-Rose Carmont as the 19th.

Notably absent from the extended bench are prop Ivana Lauitiiti, utility back Tyra Wetere, and front rower Metanoia Fotu-Moala.

Additionally, this match holds special significance for Griffiths as he will be returning to face the club that he successfully led to NRLW premierships in both 2022 and 2023.
