The warriors.kiwi website is buzzing with reports on how their players performed on the international rugby league stage over the past month.

Mitchell Barnett came out on top with a sweet taste of victory, while his teammates from the New Zealand Warriors also made their presence known.

In the 2024 season, Barnett, a seasoned NRL player of 10 years, had a standout performance unlike any other.

Despite the Warriors missing out on the finals, he shone brightly and took home the prestigious Simon Mannering Medal, as well as earning a spot in the RLPA's Players' Dream Team as one of the top props.

Making his State of Origin debut in the third match of the season, Barnett's impact off the bench was crucial in helping New South Wales secure a series win.

His stellar season continued as he was selected for Australia's squad in the Pacific Championships, where he made his debut against Tonga and played in all three games, culminating in a hard-fought 20-14 victory over the Tongans in Sydney.

Throughout the international window, Barnett faced off against his clubmates, including Addin Fonua-Blake and Shaun Johnson, in intense battles.

They brought their A-game, showcasing their skills and determination on the field.

Overall, it was a season of triumphs and challenges, with Barnett proving himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of rugby league.

The New Zealand Warriors can certainly be proud of their players' performances on the international stage.
