Warriors tackle setbacks, sharks smell blood again

The NZ Warriors are facing significant changes to their lineup for the NRL clash against Cronulla Sutherland on Saturday due to injuries\.

Co-captain Mitchell Barnett sustained a season-ending knee injury, specifically a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, during the first half of last week's match against the Rabbitohs\.

This injury marks a severe blow for the team, as Barnett was set to make his 49th appearance for the club.

Additionally, centre Rocco Berry is also unavailable for this match\.

He experienced hamstring tightness and had to leave the field in the 60th minute during his impressive comeback, following a prior hamstring injury\.

To address these absences, Capewell will play in the centres, while Leka Halasima is named to start in the second row\.

Jacob Laban will join Halasima, and Tanner Stowers-Smith will fill a spot on the interchange bench\.

The rest of the backline remains unchanged from the recent 36-30 victory over South Sydney, in which the back three-Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck-collectively scored four out of the Warriors' seven tries.

The match is set for a 5:30 pm local time (7:30 pm NZT) kickoff at Sharks Stadium in Sydney.
