The New Zealand Warriors have officially announced the acquisition of Cooper Page-Wilson, a prop from the Sunshine Coast Falcons, for the upcoming 2026 NRL season.
Page-Wilson will join the team on a two-year contract and is set to start full-time training immediately, despite being registered under a NSW Cup agreement.
It remains uncertain whether he will transition to a Top 30 contract in the 2027 season.
In a statement regarding the signing, Warriors general manager of recruitment, pathways, and development, Andrew McFadden, noted, "With three seasons in the Queensland Cup and NRL trials behind him, Cooper is a key signing with the experience he'll bring to the young New South Wales Cup squad."
McFadden added, "He'll be training fulltime with the NRL squad and will provide invaluable support for the players we have coming through the pathways."
In 2025, Page-Wilson played 21 matches in the QLD Cup and has a total of 35 appearances from his prior two seasons at Wynnum Manly.
He has participated in finals football during all three of his QLD Cup seasons and had pre-season trial experiences with the Broncos in 2024 and the Storm in 2025.
Following the 2025 season, the Warriors faced significant departures, losing key players such as Tom Ale and Kalani Going to the Panthers, along with hooker Freddy Lussick, while Bunty Afoa moved to the Wests Tigers.
Despite these changes, the Auckland-based club secured the NSW Cup premiership in 2025, indicating a promising future for the Warriors.
