The NZ Warriors are set to pursue their fifth consecutive win in the NSW Cup as they prepare to clash with the Roosters at Wentworth Park in Sydney on Sunday, with a kickoff time of 1:00 PM local time (3:00 PM NZT).
Their campaign started strongly with four consecutive victories before a setback against the Newtown Jets at home.
However, they bounced back impressively, securing a significant 40-12 win over the Dragons, followed by victories against the Knights (30-18), the Bears (56-14), and the Raiders (46-30).
This resurgence places them at the top of the ladder with 18 points.
The Jets have experienced a drop in form, giving the Warriors a three-point lead over both the Dragons and Eels, while Newtown trails at 14 points.
The Warriors boast standout performances, with Boyd leading the competition in points scored with 89.
Back rower Kayliss Fatialofa has also made an impact with eight tries, just three shy of the leader, Asu Kepaoa from Penrith.
For their upcoming match, the Roosters have included winger Dominic Young and former Warrior Chad Townsend in their lineup.
