The NZ Warriors celebrated their first win of the season in the SG Ball Cup, defeating the St George Dragons 20-12.
The victory was well-deserved after a tough run of six losses, leaving them at the bottom of the ladder.
The win not only brought them their first taste of success in the campaign but also lifted them above four other teams to 12th place on the table.
Warriors had the lead early in the ninth minute and held on for the remainder of the match.
