In a thrilling display of skill and determination, the NZ Warriors emerged victorious once again, securing their second consecutive win after their historic Harold Matthews Cup triumph.

Despite the persistent rain and slippery conditions, the under-17 side started the day with gusto, setting the tone for the upcoming doubleheaders at Navigation Homes Stadium.

The Balmain Tigers, plagued by a winless streak, proved themselves to be a formidable opponent, presenting a tough challenge for the Warriors.

After an early try by winger Kairus Booth, the Tigers showed their resilience and leveled the playing field just before halftime, leaving the score at a nail-biting 4-4.

However, it was the NZ Warriors who truly shone in the second half, shutting down Balmain's attack and unleashing a devastating offensive onslaught.

Led by the heroic Lennox Tuiloma, who once again proved his worth with his third try in just two games, and the exceptional Militoni Sikuvea, the Warriors sealed the victory with two converted tries.

With this impressive 16-4 win, the Warriors have elevated themselves to six points in the standings, tying with the Central Coast Roosters for sixth place, albeit falling behind due to points for and against.

The team's resilience and determination are a testament to the indomitable spirit of Rugby League, and fans can only hope that this momentum will continue to propel them to further success.
