GWM Game Day: Members' Round
The NZ Warriors are set to make their long-awaited return to the sold-out Go Media Stadium for their annual Members' Appreciation Round this Sunday, sponsored by GWM.
This marks their first home game since defeating the Brisbane Broncos 20-18 on April 19, which initiated a five-game winning streak.
The event will feature a 'black out' theme, with the Warriors donning the popular 'Dear Warrior' jersey, inspired by Warrior #151 Lewis Brown.
Additionally, the players will wear a specially designed, limited edition 'Dear Warrior' tee during warm-ups.
A highlight of the event will be a halftime appearance by the Harold Matthews Cup under-17 squad, who will be celebrated for winning the premiership for the second consecutive season.
Coached by TJ Ashford, this squad made waves last year by clinching the grand final in their debut campaign and repeated their success this year with a 30-16 victory against Newcastle in the title decider on May 3.
Members can expect VIP treatment as the Warriors make their return to their home ground, creating an exciting atmosphere for both players and supporters.
