Three Warriors back home for bonus SJ farewell

The boys over at warriors.kiwi have some news hot off the press: Three Warriors are making their triumphant return home just in time for a special farewell to old mate SJ.

The Kiwis and Tonga are gearing up for a showdown in Auckland this Saturday, with the victor earning a spot in the Cup final against Australia while the loser faces the dreaded prospect of relegation.

Both teams put up a fierce fight against the Kangaroos in the pools and are itching for a shot at glory in the final on November 10, but they'll have to battle it out first.

The Kiwis have a dominant 6-1 edge in the history books against Tonga, with Tonga's only shining moment coming in 2017 at the World Cup.

The last time these two went head-to-head was back in 2022 in Auckland, with Jahrome Hughes leading the Kiwis to a 22-6 victory.

With only a handful of players left from that epic win, the Kiwis will be relying on the likes of James Fisher-Harris and Joseph Tapine to step up once again and make a statement under the watchful eye of head coach Stacey Jones.

Tonga's strong suit lies in their powerhouse pack, spearheaded by Addin Fonua-Blake, Jason Taumalolo, and Haumole Olakau'atu.

The battle in the middle of the field will be crucial in determining the ultimate victor in Auckland.

It's bound to be a ripper of a match, filled with blood, sweat, and cheers from the sidelines.
