Jackson Ford is set to rejoin the NZ Warriors for Saturday's NRL qualifying final against the Dolphins.
He has been unavailable since injuring his pectoral muscle during the Warriors' June 21 meeting with North Queensland in Christchurch.
Ford's return contrasts with the absence of Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, who will miss this week's match.
Watene-Zelezniak underwent surgery after breaking his right clavicle, or collar bone, in the round 25 game against the Rabbitohs.
The Warriors expect him to return during the playoffs.
