The New Zealand Warriors have made a significant addition to their second-row lineup by re-signing a promising young player.
Twenty-year-old Kayliss Fatialofa has committed to the Warriors, reportedly turning down a potential move to the Penrith Panthers last week.
Fatialofa has caught the attention of scouts during his ascent through the ranks, demonstrating exceptional durability and potential that many believe will be a good fit for the NRL.
"Kayliss is part of the crop of impressive young players we've seen emerging since we've had the full pathways structure in place," remarked Andrew McFadden, the Warriors' general manager of recruitment, pathways, and development, following the extension.
"He made his NSW Cup debut last year and has been outstanding throughout this season, playing every game and making a huge contribution to the team winning the minor premiership."
Fatialofa has played the full 80 minutes in all 19 of his NSW Cup matches this year and has distinguished himself as one of the top forwards in the competition, notching 12 tries.
