Rd 26 Team List: One change

In a highly anticipated match on Friday night, the NZ Warriors will be celebrating three major milestones.

However, the biggest news of the night is the return of Te Maire Martin, who has been out of action for over four months due to a fractured left fibula.

Martin, a 27-year-old player, suffered the injury during a game against the Newcastle Knights back in April.

Despite his long absence, Martin has made a strong recovery and has been named on the extended bench in jersey #22 for the upcoming match against St George Illawarra.

He has also been included in the club's New South Wales Cup side for their final regular season game against the Dragons.

During the early part of the season, Martin formed a formidable partnership with Shaun Johnson in the halves, missing only one game due to a head knock.

The return of Martin will undoubtedly boost the team's confidence and provide them with a much-needed playmaking option.

In addition to Martin's return, head coach Andrew Webster has made just one change to the starting lineup from last week's victory over the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Second rower Josh Curran, who has played 56 games for the Warriors, will be starting for the fifth time this season, with regular starter Jackson Ford moving to the interchange.

The Warriors' recent win over Manly marked their sixth consecutive victory since their loss to South Sydney on June 30.

This winning streak is a remarkable achievement, as the team has not achieved such a feat since 2002 when they recorded eight straight wins.

The last time the Warriors won six games in a row was in 1995.

With the return of Te Maire Martin and the team's impressive winning streak, the NZ Warriors are in a strong position heading into their final regular season home match.

Fans will undoubtedly be eagerly anticipating the match at Go Media Stadium, which is set to kick off at 8.00pm.
