The NZ Warriors have updated their squad ahead of their NRL return against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium, scheduled to kick off at 11:50 AM local time (1:50 PM NZT).

Back rower Makayla Eli and halfback Tyra Wetere have been retained as reserves, with Eli listed as the 18th player and Wetere as the 19th.

Both players will travel to Sydney following the team's final field session at Go Media Stadium.

As part of the squad adjustments made before the 24-hour deadline, prop Ivana Lauitiiti and hooker Avery Rose-Carmont have been omitted from the 21-player roster selected on Tuesday.

Captain Apii Nicholls leads a notably fresh squad, as 16 players will be making their debuts for the Warriors.

Nicholls, 32, is the only player in the squad with prior experience at the club.
