Maxigesic Recovery Report indicates that Ali Leiataua, centre for the New Zealand Warriors, will be sidelined for five to six weeks following surgery on a syndesmosis ankle injury.
This injury occurred during his comeback while playing for the New South Wales Cup against the Newtown Jets on June 7.
His return is projected for either round 21 or 22.
In addition, fullback Taine Tuaupiki is also unavailable this week as he adheres to the NRL's head injury protocols after being knocked out in a tackle by Parramatta's Alfred Smalley during the Warriors' recent 46-22 victory in the New South Wales Cup.
Centre Rocco Berry will miss another week due to a hamstring injury but is expected to return next week.
