The NZ Warriors have officially re-signed playmaker Te Maire Martin, extending his contract until the end of the 2026 NRL season. Previously set to be off-contract after the 2025 season, the 29-year-old will now continue with the club for four more years, having joined them in 2023.
Martin began the 2025 season with the New South Wales Cup team, but for much of the year, he played as a bench utility at the NRL level. He recently started in the halves during matches against the Dolphins and the Bulldogs in the last two rounds.
Te Maire Martin kicked off his NRL career with the Penrith Panthers in 2016, later playing for North Queensland and Brisbane before signing with the NZ Warriors.
