In a stunning display of skill and dominance, the Warriors showcased their magic on the rugby league field as they triumphed over the Knights with a 40-10 victory at Go Media Stadium on Saturday.
With their sights set on the grand final, the Warriors have staged an impressive comeback this season, rising from their 15th place finish in the previous year.
The game kicked off with a mistake by Knights winger Greg Marzhew in the opening set, allowing Shaun Johnson to set up a try for Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, leaving Bradman Best trailing behind.
This early advantage gave the home side a 4-0 lead.
Johnson continued to assert his influence on the game, securing a repeat set with a perfectly executed grubber.
The Knights defense faltered once again as Addin Fonua-Blake powered through from close range, extending the Warriors' lead to 10 points.
Left winger Marcelo Montoya further bolstered the home team's lead as he capitalized on some impressive passing from Te Maire Martin and Adam Pompey, scoring his 10th try of the season.
Pompey's successful conversion widened the gap to 16-0.
Despite the Warriors' dominance, the Knights managed to regain their composure and push forward, capitalizing on mistakes made by Johnson and Montoya.
In the 26th minute, Greg Marzhew crossed the try line, providing the visitors with a much-needed boost.
