Apii Nicholls has been named captain of the Warriors as the club prepares for its NRLW comeback after a five-year hiatus.
This announcement was made during the launch of the Warriors' 2025 campaign.
At 32 years old, Nicholls brings experience and leadership to the team, having been a part of the Warriors since their inaugural NRLW season.
She was the first player signed by head coach Ron Griffiths, underscoring her significance in the club's return to the competition.
Nicholls, who played fullback when the team launched its debut season by defeating the Roosters 10-4 at Accor Stadium in Sydney on September 8, 2018, will lead the Warriors in their first match back against the same opponents and 2024 premiers at Allianz Stadium on July 6.
