Warriors captain Tohu Harris out for season

The New Zealand Warriors have been dealt a devastating blow as their fearless leader, Tohu Harris, has been sidelined for the rest of the 2024 NRL season.

A stalwart of the team, Harris was forced to withdraw from the Round 18 clash against the Canterbury Bulldogs due to a nagging wrist injury.

It has been confirmed that he will require surgery, putting an end to his season.

This news is a bitter pill to swallow for the Warriors, who were relying on Harris to lead them to the finals as the season reaches its climax.

After sitting out for four weeks to manage the injury, it has become clear that surgery is the only option for the 32-year-old veteran.

Harris' absence will be sorely felt on the field, as he has been a powerhouse for the Warriors this season, averaging an impressive 132 running meters and 37 tackles per game.

Without their captain leading the charge, the Warriors will have to dig deep and rally together to keep their finals hopes alive.
