Warriors staff remain confident Taine Tuaupiki will stay focused before Sunday's semi-final against the Newcastle Knights.
That confidence follows reports that the 27-year-old fullback sought a release to join Super League.
Tuaupiki's contract includes an option to leave after 2027 and move to the competition in 2028.
His camp reportedly believes he could command one of the United Kingdom's highest salaries from 2027 onward.
However, the Warriors have rejected the request, according to Cameron George, the club's chief executive.
"Despite the rumours or otherwise, Taine is contracted to the Warriors for the next two years," George told Code Sports.
"He does have an option for the Super League in 2028; however, there's no appetite from the end of losing Taine."
Tuaupiki signed a two-year extension in February, keeping him with New Zealand through the 2028 season.
He has established himself at fullback, while backline injuries have forced Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad into the outside backs.
Code Sports reported that Tuaupiki will remain in the NRL after the Warriors blocked his proposed departure.
