Warriors' backs sidelined, uncertain for upcoming games

The New Zealand Warriors have given us the inside scoop on the injury status of nine of their key players ahead of Round 19, where they'll take a breather this weekend.

Last week, against the Canterbury Bulldogs, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak copped a knock to the head and had to leave the field with a case of concussion.

Luckily, he'll be back in action next week, along with Marcelo Montoya who had a groin issue.

Unfortunately, Charne Nicoll-Klokstad will be on the sidelines for a few weeks due to a pesky calf strain.

Looks like Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will be stepping up to fill the fullback spot in his absence.

Updates were also provided on Rocco Berry, Tohu Harris, Shaun Johnson, Luke Metcalf, and Paul Roache.

While these eight players are still out of the game, the Warriors have confirmed that Zyon Maiu'u will be making his comeback from injury in the NSW Cup match against the Parramatta Eels this Saturday at Lidcombe Oval.

Time to show them what he's made of!

And that's the latest from Warrior-land, folks.

Stay tuned for more updates as the season rolls on.
