The NZ Warriors will be hosting an emotional Daniel Anderson Round clash against Manly Warringah at home on Friday night.
In honor of their former coach, the club and naming rights sponsor Go Media have renamed the venue Daniel Anderson Stadium.
Anderson, who also coached Parramatta, St Helens, and the Kiwis, suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury last year and is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
The entire NRL rugby league community is rallying together to raise critical funds for Anderson's recovery.
The match against the Sea Eagles will also serve as the club's annual old boys' day, with former NZ Warriors players from the Anderson era coming out in large numbers to show their support.
A parade of honor is scheduled for 7.10pm, adding to the already highly-charged atmosphere of the night.
The NZ Warriors are determined to protect their third spot on the ladder and secure their 15th win of the season.
They currently sit alone on 34 points, four behind Penrith and Brisbane, and two ahead of the Melbourne Storm, who are in fourth place.
