The NZ Warriors have joined forces with local artist Haser to create a limited edition merchandise range, as reported by warriors.kiwi.
Haser, a West Auckland native and long-time supporter of the team, has put his own spin on the Warriors' emblem, incorporating elements of urban culture into the iconic tekoteko design.
Drawing inspiration from the club's original logo from 1995, Haser has utilized a graffiti-influenced typeface to give the merchandise range a modern and edgy feel.
The artist's intention was to create something that fans could proudly wear, symbolizing their membership to a larger community that extends beyond the team itself.
Haser, whose full name is Kairau Bradley, is a Māori artist of Ngā Puhi descent, hailing from the western suburbs of Auckland.
With over 20 years of experience in the graffiti and street art scene, Haser has become a prominent figure in New Zealand and has showcased his work at various international events around the world.
