The NZ Warriors, in collaboration with the Apex Rugby League Pathway Programme, are joining forces to offer opportunities to talented young players from the Waikato region.

Andrew McFadden, the general manager of recruitment, pathways, and development for the NZ Warriors, and Tony Iro, the coach of the Sky Sport Future Warriors, were present in Hamilton for the launch of the programme.

This initiative will consist of eight weekly sessions, catering to a group of 24 players aged between 14 and 18 years old.

The programme was established by Tony Barakat, a Hamilton-based entrepreneur, and is being conducted in partnership with the NZ Warriors, as the club aims to expand its reach beyond Auckland and into other areas of the country.

Barakat worked closely with the NZ Warriors at Go Media Stadium while organizing the programme.
