After being pushed down to fifth by Penrith last night, the NZ Warriors will have to beat Canterbury Bankstown tonight to reclaim their spot in the NRL's top four.
The Panthers leapfrogged the Warriors with their 48-12 trouncing of the Knights to move to 31 points, marking the first time Andrew Webster's side has been out of the top four since round seven.
Tonight, the Warriors will aim to bounce back after suffering back-to-back home losses to the Titans and the Dolphins.
The Bulldogs have also faced challenges recently, encountering difficulties against the Wests Tigers and now posting a 3-3 record since their round 16 bye, a stark contrast to their impressive 11-2 streak leading up to round 15.
The blue and whites have been successful in both encounters with the Warriors in 2024, with a Matt Burton field goal in golden point sealing a 13-12 victory in their last matchup.
