Maxigesic Recovery Report: Three Outside Backs Added
The NZ Warriors are preparing for their round 10 NRL clash against St George Illawarra, with some changes to their squad.
Veteran wingers Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck have returned from injury, as reported by warriors.kiwi.
Watene-Zelezniak, recovering from a wrist injury, and Tuivasa-Sheck, who had a hamstring issue, were included in the squad named on Tuesday for the upcoming match in Wollongong.
Additionally, second-rower Jacob Laban has been named after overcoming a concussion.
However, the team has also faced setbacks, with centres Ali Leiataua and Rocco Berry added to the injury list.
Leiataua is dealing with an ankle injury, while Berry suffered a hamstring injury.
Both players are expected to be sidelined for a few weeks as they recover.
Winger Edward Kosi is also unavailable, with the severity of his chest injury sustained early in last Saturday's Magic Round contest still under assessment.
The team's injury situation highlights the ongoing challenges as they strive to maintain their performance in the NRL season.
