In a move that has sent shockwaves through the Rugby League world, New Zealand Warriors speedster Setu Tu has packed his bags and signed a two-year deal with the Brisbane Tigers.

Tu, who rose through the ranks from the NSW Cup to the Queensland Cup, has decided to make a triumphant return to Australia after showcasing his talents with the Warriors and the Redcliffe Dolphins.

After making his mark in the NSW Cup in 2019, Tu's impressive performances caught the eye of the Tigers, who offered him a chance to join their squad in the Queensland Cup for the upcoming seasons.

Despite securing a train-and-trial contract with the Dolphins for the 2023 season, Tu opted to heed the call of his homeland and head back to New Zealand.

This move comes as a bittersweet moment for Tu, as he leaves behind his teammates but looks forward to a new chapter with the Tigers.

Only time will tell if this move will prove to be a game-changer for both Tu and his new team.
