Nathan Cleary and Cameron Munster have praised their Australian teammate Reece Walsh following his impressive Test debut against England at Wembley.

In the opening Ashes Test, Walsh scored two tries and excelled in both attack and defense, earning him the player-of-the-match title in Australia's dominating 26-6 win.

This standout performance came just three weeks after Walsh showcased his talent in the NRL grand final, where he played a crucial role in the Brisbane Broncos' victory over the Melbourne Storm.

Cleary and Munster, both viewed as potential future NRL Immortals, were impressed by Walsh's efforts in front of a crowd of 60,812.

"It's outstanding, what a freak of a player," Cleary stated. "It's an absolute pleasure to play alongside him."

Munster, who experienced Walsh's skill firsthand during the Broncos' 26-22 win over the Storm in the season decider, expressed his gratitude to play with him. "I'm very lucky to play with him. He broke my heart a couple of weeks ago," he remarked.
