Walsh romps to enormous victory: Zero Tackle's NRL Finals MVP, grand final

After James Tedesco secured the regular season MVP by a significant margin, Reece Walsh mirrored that success during the finals by achieving a flawless total of 20 votes in the grand final.

Entering the match, Walsh was already trailing Penrith's Paul Alamoti by just five votes. However, his performance allowed him to surge ahead with a 15-vote lead, as no other Brisbane or Melbourne players amassed high totals during the final.

Notably, the top ten standings for the finals series remained unchanged, although Eliesa Katoa's performance in the grand final positioned him within reach of the leaders, making him Melbourne's standout player.

Other noteworthy players who made it onto the voting sheet from the decider included Gehamat Shibasaki, Ezra Mam, Deine Mariner, and Jahrome Hughes.
