The Wests Tigers are farewelling their fullback Botille Vette-Welsh, who will be departing after five years of dedicated service to the club.
Vette-Welsh has been a linchpin in the development of the Tigers' women's program, both as a mentor and a player.
The 28-year-old, who is currently off-contract, served as co-captain for the Tigers' NRLW team in its formative years and made her mark by scoring the first try of the team's inaugural season against the Parramatta Eels back in 2023.
Vette-Welsh's contributions off the field have been just as remarkable, with her role as Community Engagement Coordinator shining brightly over the past two years.
Head Coach Brett Kimmorley praised Botille's efforts, highlighting her pride-worthy efforts and dedication to the club.
Her departure will undoubtedly be felt on the field, but her impact and legacy at the Wests Tigers will endure for years to come.
